Possible causes:

  • Production of leather, veneers and colours, glass industry, wood, welding
  • Colour pigments ie: Chromium colours of wool and textiles
  • Chromium rubbing through the chromium nickel stainless steel pots and pans
  • Dental cement, implants, dentures
  • Ceramic
  • Using an old chromium covered scissor

Possible consequences:

  • Allergies, eczema
  • Rhinitis
  • Skin and mucous ulcers
  • Lung irritations, obstructive bronchitis, asthma
  • Liver and kidney damage
  • Immune system weakness
  • Lung cancer

Measures:

  • Search for cause and avoid a new contamination
  • Heavy metal removal
